Activities 2018

International World Disability Day of Cluster no 04 was celebrated in the jr wing. In it the CWSN from the member schools participated. Activities like Dance, Poem Recitation, Singing and Drawing competition was organised. The students were also given gifts to mark the celebration.

Orientation of Parents Regarding CBSE Examination System 2018-19 on 28th July 2018 .

Volunteers from the Blood Bank Society under the guidance of Ms Niti Sareen addressed the students in the morning assembly on World Thalassemia Day ie 8th of May.
An extensive sensitization session followed in the classrooms where the queries of the students were answered.

“ Say No To Plastic” week was organised at GMSSS16 by Rose House. The efforts of house incharge and members were worth appreciating .

 

Our students guided by the house incharge Mrs Sumandeep and other house members took part in The Best Out Of Waste competition.

 

Interhouse house March past competition was held in GMSSS16.
The students under the guidance of their house incharges and captains presented a spectacular show.

 

NSS students of GMSSS16 participated in a run,quiz and gatka on 22nd April as a part of 29th Road Safety Week.The school was honoured for its active participation. The efforts of our NSS incharges Mrs Neeraj and Mrs Sarvjit in motivating the students are appreciable.

 

 

Students of GMSSS 16 participated in the heritage walk organized by department of tourism on World Heritage Day.

 

 

 NSS students accompanied by Ms Japinder and Ms Neeraj of GMSSS16 at the open house discussion organized by CCPCR. Students asked questions on a vast spectrum of issues in their student life.

 

 

Volunteers of Alankar theatre group staged a street play sensitising our students on the need to maintain cleanliness of their surroundings.

 

Students of GMSSS16 interacting with the employees of the school on Labour Day. Mutual discussion about the problems faced by the Group D employees and how the students could help in sensitizing their peer group .

Student of class 3 motivated by his seniors in the tinkering lab made a successful attempt to lighten up a self made toy house . Congratulations Adarsh Class 3 B and his class incharge Sh Manoj Kumar for motivating his students.

 

 

Students of GMSSS 16 taking oath to prevent the outbreak of Dengue. The nodal officer Ms Bindu and the house incharge Ms Neerja Jain sensitized students on prevention of Dengue and use of Neem oil for its prevention.  

 

Members of the Eco Club of GMSSS 16 led by their mentor Ms Neerja Jain spearheading the campaign “Say No To Polythene”and encouraging Best Out Of Waste in the junior wing. They were supported by GMSSS Sarangpur and GMHS Sarangpur. The Daffodil House with the support of Ms Surinder and staff of junior wing promised not to use Polythene.
